Felix Bambury Webbe, a native of Guantanamo, Cuba, brings a lifetime of dance experience and a contagious enthusiasm and positive spirit to his high energy classes. Felix performed with various dance groups in Cuba since his youth as a student in Santiago de Cuba. Since 1994, Felix has performed as a professional dancer with several celebrated dance companies including Espectaculo Ibu Ana, Raices Profunda, and Banrarra. As a member of Banrarra he assisted with international dance courses organized by Plaza Cuba. As an instructor, Felix held the position of Professor of Folkloric Dance with the contemporary dance company, Narcisco Medina, in Havana, Cuba. Since his arrival in June 2007, Felix has taught and performed in many venues around Alaska
Judy Kreith received her MA in Dance Education from Stanford. She has taught, performed and choreographed dances in Colorado, Cuba, California and throughout Alaska. She has been a Guest Artist at the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival for many years and recently has been choreographing for the Dancing With Our Stars Gala Event for the Colorado Ballet. Currently, she resides in Boulder Colorado where she teaches dance to children and adults of all ages.
Susan Chapa specializes in Egyptian and American Oriental styles of belly dance. She has also studied Jazz, Ballet, Comtemporary, Tap, Musical Theater, Hip-Hop, West African, Polynesian, and Latin dance as well. Susan recently relocated to Oregon from Fairbanks. In 2001, she helped form Tundra Caravan Middle Eastern Dance Troupe. In 2006, she founded Raks Souzana offering beginning to advanced classes for all ages. Susan taught for the University of Alaska Fairbanks and as a guest artist for the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival.
